The Professional Fire Fighter Program at ESA is now a joint program, offered in conjunction with Lakeland College, Vermilion AB.  Students are registered in both post-secondary institutions.  The program remains ESA based (instructors, content, choice of textbooks and curriculum), but because of the change in status, the program is designated as eligible for funding from Canada Student Loans, provincial level grants and Employment & Immigration, through Lakeland College listings.  Students also receive 23 post-secondary credits on a Lakeland College transcript following successful completion of the program.
