Students from the Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) Programs which started in September, 2009 and January, 2010 are currently on or have completed their hospital, inter-hospital transfer and ambulance practicums.
Twelve students have been accepted for the EMT Program which started May 3, 2010.
The EMT Program at ESA holds six year accreditation with the Canadian Medical Association (CMA) which was renewed in July, 2010. This is a very important designation as it reflects compliance with a strict and ongoing evaulation by CMA. The accreditation is recognized across Canada and allows our graduates access to employment across the country.
