"On July 2, 2019 I officially started my career as a (probationary) firefighter with the Grande Prairie Fire Department. I succeeded in all the steps; exams, physical fitness test, phobia exams, swim test, interview and station assessment. I made the one spot they were offering out of the 50 plus applicants that started with the aptitude exam. The hard work, determination, and dedication to such an honourable and respected career has finally paid off and it wouldn't have been possible without the help from yourself (Ian Clavelle), ESA and the ESA staff."
