  • Help for Clahens!

    Elliott Davis - March 26, 2014

    Hi everyone,

This morning, 8 year old Judah and his mother got up at 0630 to make muffins for a fundraising bake sale at ESA.

Today Judah raised $122.30 to send a 4 yr named Clahens to school in Haiti. This donation will also encompass medical care for Clahens and his immediate family.  The generosity exhibited by the ESA EMR and Fire classes was exceptional.

We had projected raising $72, and the overwhelming number of "keep the change" responses from the students significantly "upped the draw".

For some perspective, the cost to help care for this boy is $38 per month in donations.  Judah and the ESA students have successfully paid for 3 months of care, with a small start on the 4th.

Nice work ESA!! The BEST ARE ready!!

FROM THE BEST...

"One of the main reasons I chose ESA besides its CMA accreditation was that its instructors are still practicing EMT's and Paramedics. They are informative, approachable, and I really appreciated the small class sizes. We are more than just a face in the crowd. Being on first name basis and having instructors know you is the only way to learn. "
